NOTARIAL PRACTICE

The work includes the preparation and registration of notarial general covering bonds, notarial cession of book debts, notarial servitudes, protesting bills of exchange, notarial mining leases, notarial deeds of trust, including family trusts and benevolent trusts, notarial deeds of separation, notarial deeds of change of name, and notarial employee and management share ownership trusts.

Mufuka & Associates Legal Practitioners is a law firm originally registered as Stumbles & Rowe (Marondera), Zimbabwe which law firm was incorporated in Zimbabwe in May, 1983 in terms of the Legal Practitioners Act Chapter 27:07

GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

The law firm’s objective are governed generally by the objectives of the Law Society of Zimbabwe which is the governing body of lawyers in Zimbabwe in terms of the Legal Practitioners Act Chapter 27:07 whose vision is commitment to justice and the rule of law.

HISTORY

Mufuka & Associates, Legal Practitioners has undergone 

various changes in personnel over the years as follows:

1983-1987

Stumbles & Rowe (Marondera) with 3 Partners, namely, 

William James Redfern, Richard M Mufuka & Nicholas Baker.

1988-1993

Redfern & Mufuka with 2 Partners being William James Redfern & Richard M Mufuka.

1994-1995

Mufuka & Phiri with Partners being Richard M Mufuka & Clement Phiri.

1995-2017

Mufuka & Associates with one Partner, Richard M Mufuka.

2018-2022

Mufuka & Associates with one Partner, Richard M Mufuka and two professional associates namely, 

Mrs Chikhondi Mavis Sakupwanya and former Marondera Magistrate Mr Adonia W N Masawi.

2022-2025

One more professional assistant, Chenesai Mukora-Mangoma added to the team.

2025-Present

Two professional assistants, Danai Kadungure and Tendai Trish Mugurungi, and a legal intern, Daniel Zuze, were added to the team.
